THE BEGINNING OF THE ROAD
A young Ron Worley, completes one semester at Texas Tech University before it becomes evident that this career path is not for him.
THE EARLY YEARS BEFORE ALLIED EQUIPMENT, INC.
Ron Worley returns to Odessa, Texas. It is here where he suggested to his father, Emmett Worley, an experienced pipeline welder, to start up a company manufacturing oil and gas equipment. EMRON was created.
BORN TO BUILD
After fifteen years of success at EMRON, the powerful father-son duo departed ways. Ron Worley had a vision to design and supply engineering packages to target markets. He travelled to the Ector County Courthouse and filed for DBA and established Allied Equipment, Inc.
A GROWING BUSINESS
Allied Equipment, Inc. became a trusted leader in Oil & Natural Gas for the design and manufacture of ASME Code vessels for Oxy, ExxonMobil, and Shell. To accommodate the rapid growth of the industry and the company, Allied Equipment, Inc. purchases 15 acres on 8000 N. Golder, Odessa, Texas 79764.
A VERY SUCCESSFUL COMPANY
Discussion with a respected businessman leads Ron Worley to realize that he needs to build a storage unit in order to sell to natural gas market. As you can imagine, it did not take long for Allied Equipment, Inc. to design a stackable compressed natural gas storage sphere ranging from 5,500 to 10,000 PSI. Allied Equipment, Inc. sold over 200 compressed natural gas storage spheres in 2012.
After completely outgrowing the first shop on 2700 W. 42nd, Allied Equipment builds a 6,000 square foot office at 8000 N. Golder, which eventually grows into 14,000 square feet.
